Hello from Nath Low,
Founder of My Inside World
My name is Nath. I am so glad you've come to My Inside World. However long you stay, and in whatever way we will be interacting, I am forever grateful for your connection the way it is.
It's so hard to share and write about myself. I will try my best:
A few years ago, as I was experiencing an extremely difficult time of my life, navigating a tumultuous, multi-state divorce, I discovered that the Sanskrit word nātha नाथ literally means "lord, protector, master". At first I thought that it would be unbearably presumptuous and self-serving of me to believe this could have any connection or association with my identity. I thought to myself, "I'm the least special person who can walk this earth. This must not apply to me at all." And just like that, I went about my life striving, proving, hurting and feeling like I just didn't deserve a place here.
Why am I sharing this? Learning more about what a new interpretation of one's name could seem so innocuous for someone with a healthy image of the self. It's just a small tidbit of information, nothing harmful. However, for someone like me, I wanted to run away from anything to do with my inside world. I had no awareness and no means of understanding everything related to my self. It was very painful to be me.
My journey to my present has been deeply healing and insightful. Through my training, therapy and work with mentor coaches, and beautiful relationships and connections I have had the privilege to have, I now have a lot more awareness of my internal landscape, my dominant "parts" of self that drive my inner dialogue and thoughts, default habit and behavioral loops, and have found ways to work in harmony with them, to steer my life in the way that aligns with my core principles and mission. While my work is far from complete, it's become my goal to help those I can learn the tools and methods that have worked for me, and to share the insights of the self that I've learned.
I trained and graduated as a life coach in 2022. My areas of training focused on ADHD and IFS (Internal Family Systems) from ADDCA and IFS Institute. You will find that I offer a compassionate and empathetic approach, which pairs well with the Self Map program I created. This program is systematic and methodical in its design to draw out relevant insight of your inner workings, and work towards effective solutions and goals tailored to you.
Prior to becoming a coach, I came from a startup background, and worked in Customer Service, HR and Facilities in tech before embarking on a career switch. The career switch was quite organic: I was already so immersed in learning more about the mind-body-spirit connection, ways to cope with mental stress and trauma, and working with neurodivergence in my family and in myself (I was diagnosed with ADHD only a few years ago).
I hope to work with you.
